By accessing or using this website (wanderbywilson.com), you (“You” or “Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully before using this website or engaging our services. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.
This website is owned and operated by Wander by Wilson (“Wander by Wilson,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a travel advisory practice based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Wander by Wilson is an independent travel advisor affiliated with SmartFlyer, a Virtuoso® member agency. All bookings made through Wander by Wilson are placed through SmartFlyer’s host agency relationships and are subject to the terms of the applicable travel suppliers (hotels, airlines, tour operators, cruise lines, transfer providers, and other third parties).
Our principal place of business is located in Atlanta, Georgia. You can reach us at wilson@wanderbywilson.com for any questions about these Terms.
Wander by Wilson acts solely as an independent intermediary between you and the third-party travel suppliers who actually provide the travel services you book (collectively, “Suppliers”). We do not own, operate, manage, or control any hotel, airline, cruise line, ground operator, tour company, restaurant, or any other supplier of travel services.
By engaging Wander by Wilson, you acknowledge and agree that:
Wander by Wilson charges a planning fee for the time, expertise, and resources required to research, curate, and arrange custom travel itineraries. Planning fees are quoted and agreed upon in writing (typically by email) before work begins.
Planning fees are separate from the cost of the trip itself. Hotel, airfare, tour, transfer, cruise, and experience costs are paid directly to the applicable Supplier (or through SmartFlyer’s booking platform on the Supplier’s behalf), subject to that Supplier’s payment, deposit, and cancellation terms.
Planning fees are non-refundable once planning work has commenced, regardless of whether you ultimately book the proposed trip, modify your plans, or cancel your travel. This policy reflects the substantial time invested before any booking is confirmed.
All quotes are estimates based on current Supplier rates and availability and are not guaranteed until full payment (or the required deposit) has been received by the Supplier and the booking has been confirmed in writing. Rates, availability, and Supplier policies are subject to change without notice.
All payments for travel services (deposits, final balances, incidentals) are made directly to the Supplier or through SmartFlyer’s booking systems to the Supplier. Wander by Wilson does not hold client funds for travel services beyond planning fees.
You are solely responsible for reviewing and complying with each Supplier’s payment schedules, deposit requirements, change fees, and cancellation penalties. Late or missed payments may result in automatic cancellation of your booking by the Supplier, and any resulting loss is your responsibility.
Cancellation and change policies are set by each Supplier and vary widely. Some bookings are non-refundable from the moment of confirmation. You are responsible for understanding and accepting the cancellation policy of every Supplier before confirming a booking.
If you need to cancel or modify a confirmed booking, please notify Wander by Wilson as promptly as possible. We will use reasonable efforts to assist you, but we cannot override Supplier policies and cannot guarantee refunds, credits, waivers, or rebooking. Any refunds owed by a Supplier are issued by that Supplier, not by Wander by Wilson, and are subject to the Supplier’s processing timelines.
Planning fees remain non-refundable in the event of cancellation by you, by the Supplier, or due to force majeure.
Wander by Wilson strongly recommends that every client purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, baggage loss, and supplier default. Travel insurance can protect a substantial portion of your trip investment from events that are otherwise non-refundable.
We can provide referrals to reputable travel insurance providers upon request, but we do not sell insurance, do not act as an insurance agent, and make no representation about the suitability, scope, or terms of any policy. You are solely responsible for reviewing and selecting a policy that meets your needs.
If you decline travel insurance, you accept full financial responsibility for any losses arising from cancellation, interruption, illness, injury, lost belongings, or any other covered event.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you and every member of your traveling party hold valid passports, visas, entry permits, vaccination records, health certifications, and any other documents required by your destinations, airlines, and connecting countries. Requirements vary by nationality and change frequently.
Wander by Wilson may share general information regarding common requirements as a courtesy, but we do not provide official immigration, customs, or medical advice. You should verify all requirements directly with the relevant embassies, consulates, airlines, and government agencies (such as the U.S. State Department) well in advance of travel.
Most international destinations require passports to be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your return date. Denied boarding or entry due to insufficient documentation is not the responsibility of Wander by Wilson.
Wander by Wilson is not liable for any failure to perform, delay, change, or cancellation of services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, weather events, natural disasters, fires, floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, pandemics, epidemics, public health emergencies, government actions or travel restrictions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, riots, strikes, labor disputes, airline or airport disruptions, supplier insolvency, or any other force majeure event.
Wander by Wilson, through its affiliation with SmartFlyer, offers clients access to Virtuoso® and other preferred-partner perks at participating properties. These may include amenities such as room upgrades (upon availability), daily breakfast, resort or hotel credits, early check-in or late checkout, and welcome gifts.
All such perks are offered at the sole discretion of the Supplier, are subject to availability, are not guaranteed, may have blackout dates or eligibility restrictions, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time. Perks have no cash value and cannot be substituted, refunded, or transferred. The Virtuoso® name and logo are trademarks of Virtuoso, Ltd., and are used by permission through SmartFlyer’s membership.

Following any such link is at your own risk.
We may, from time to time, include affiliate links or earn commissions on bookings made through certain partners. The presence of an affiliate relationship does not affect our editorial recommendations — we recommend properties and Suppliers based on our independent judgment of fit and quality.

Nothing on this website constitutes medical, legal, financial, or insurance advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Wander by Wilson, its owners, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost profits, lost enjoyment, lost time, emotional distress, or damages for personal injury, property damage, or death — arising out of or relating to your use of this website, our services, or any travel arrangements, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount of planning fees actually paid by you to Wander by Wilson in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wander by Wilson, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of this website or our services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including Supplier terms; or (d) any travel undertaken in connection with arrangements we have assisted with.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
Before initiating any formal proceeding, you and Wander by Wilson agree to first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days of written notice, the parties agree to attempt mediation with a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Atlanta, Georgia.
If mediation fails to resolve the dispute, any claim shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, with the arbitration seated in Atlanta, Georgia. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration, the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to this website or our services at any time, without notice, for any reason — including but not limited to violation of these Terms or behavior that we determine to be disrespectful, abusive, or contrary to our business interests.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, or severed, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written agreement between you and Wander by Wilson regarding planning fees or specific travel arrangements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wander by Wilson regarding the use of this website and our services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website or our services after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
